I found this blog about creating passionate users and so i printed it out, hung it on my cubicle and we defined where our apps here at work fit. Its been hilarious to personalize the apps and give em attitude.

Teach Real life in High School

A few of us at work have discussed this topic a few times and how we really aren't that that prepared for life when we graduate high school. College helps a little bit more but I think people really learn about the difficult things the hard way. Brian Kim has a website where he talks about different things to make yourself better. He has this one article that talks about what classes they should really teach or should be mandatory learning in high school. I agree with him, I think that these classes would really help but I also wonder if kids will really understand/take to heart the things that they need to learn from these classes. Maybe we let them live on their own for about 6 months and then try and teach em... i don't know. ideas?
